Quiet Confidence

Writer's picture: leesilberleesilber

Nobody likes a show off. Nobody likes a braggart. Nobody likes an egotist. Now that we have that out of the way, it’s also true that a person lacking in self-confidence, self-respect, and constantly downplaying their skill and talent isn’t all that likable either. What works best is to KNOW you are special. Somebody who strives to be the best and is extraordinary in many ways. A person who sets goals and smashes them. A smart, talented, and driven person who is doing (or going to do) great things stands out. Actions do speak louder than words.

The secret is to know it, show it, but not have to say it. A quiet confidence is more attractive than a loud mouth who wants to be seen as big and make others feel small. We should say it to ourselves, believe in ourselves, and push ourselves to do things that impress others.
