Everywhere I turn I keep hearing about the importance of vision—having one for your life and career. In interviews with accomplished people and books I've recently read the power of vision is front and center. The takeaway for me is how having a clear vision for the future simplifies things. Now you know what to focus on and what to ignore. I can ask myself, "Does this fit with my vision and help me make it a reality?"
Another key point is when we can clearly articulate what we are trying to do we make people understand it, get excited about it, and inspire them to want to be a part of it. Lastly, they say seeing is believing and when we can visualize what we want it brings us that much closer to having it happen.
