A business plan and a life plan can and should have one thing in common, numbers. Having specific targets and a way to measure success that is well-defined makes all the difference. 1. The “M” part of the SMART goal acronym is about having measurable goals. I agree. 2. Break your major goal down into manageable milestones you can reach weekly.

3. Do the math so when divided by days, weeks, or months your goal is doable.
