Jimmy and The Kid
Finally, I have written a book that is ideal for just about everyone. It’s an all-ages, short novel about a teenage girl who moves to a new town and (knowing nobody and being raised by a single, Military mom) heads to the vacant baseball fields across the street each summer morning.
With (nearly) nobody around, she throws a ball against the wall imagining she is a pitcher who plays baseball with the boys. With the help of the heads groundskeeper (a former major leaguer) and her new friends, she may just make it.
1. There’s much more to this inspiring story (I’m so proud of this book) I want everyone to read it. I just need your help to get the word out. If you could:
2. Tell your friends about, “Jimmy and the Kid” or give the book as a gift (or donate a copy to a school library). You can get a Kindle or paperback copy on Amazon. (https://tinyurl.com/t2bjtjy)
3. Write a review. You can read the first few chapters on my website (http://www.leesilber.com) at the bottom of the home page, and on Amazon--where you can post a review.
4. You can get a signed copy from me through my website, or come to my book release party on March 22, 2020 in San Diego. Write me for details: leesilber@leesilber.com.
