Read With Caution

If you are in the Midwest and you're reading this in mid-March, I'm sorry. I'm sorry I'm about to complain about record heat in the West this spring, but it's friggin' hot out here. I realize you are suffering through blizzards right now, but maybe this story will warm your heart. In San Diego, a guy (yes, just a guy) had an idea. He decided he was going to haul his desk, chair, and laptop down to the beach and work from there to escape the heatwave. He posted his idea and invited others to join him. I bet you can guess how this story ends. He posted his invitation on social media along with a time and place to meet and it went viral in real life. Dozens of people showed up with their work stations and set up on the sand in Pacific Beach. How "cool" is that?
