Day Pod

You've probably heard the expression, "Take it one day at a time." There is something to that beyond where it's mostly applied. If we look back and let things we've done (or not done) ruin our day, or fear what may happen tomorrow and beyond, it makes our today less enjoyable.
Living in a day-tight pod where we simply try our best today brings out our best. What makes me an expert on this? If I allowed my past missteps to infiltrate my daily thinking I would never do anything worthwhile. If I worried what the future holds for people in my position, again I would be paralyzed with fear.
I'm about to release my 27th book and I did it by just putting one page after the other, day after day. If I allowed some of my past book's lack of sales or my worry that nobody will buy it when it's out I doubt I would have been able to do it.
Focus on the now where there is less guilt, fear, and other negative thoughts and feelings to hold you back.
