It's not easy summarizing fifty years in one paragraph, but here it is. Lee started his first business at the age of eleven—refinishing neighborhood mailboxes. He started a second venture at 17, selling office supplies from the back of his car. A competitive surfer, Silber opened a surf shop when he turned 24, and one store became a chain. Lee penned his first book at the age of 26, then began his speaking career the next year. Since then Silber has written 24 books (including two best sellers) and given over 2,400 speeches around the world.
