Right now I’m working on a keynote presentation and a book based on the concept that the best ideas often come from the frontline workers, customers, and end users.
If you have a story of someone at “the bottom” of your organization coming up with an idea that made it to the top, I’d love to hear about it.
Some examples include:
1. A janitor at Frito-Lay came up with the idea for Flaming Hot Cheetos.
2. The idea for Amazon Prime came from a small group of Amazon employees. 3. Personalizing your coffee drink by having your name on the cup came from a Starbucks barista, as did the idea for drive-thru service. Send Ideas to: leesilber@leesilber.com
