 Downtown Winnipeg in the spring. One of my close friends in San Diego was born and raised in Winnipeg, so when I had the chance to be a keynote speaker there, I quickly accepted. While I was there the weather was warm and sunny. However, I hear they have some of the most severe weather in the world in winter. If I had been asked to come up and speak in December, friend or no friend, I would have said no. I realize I am a big warm weather wuss, but you know what, I am much more at ease in flip flops than I am in snow shoes.
